What to upload for LEGIT™

• Business profile: legal name/DBA, address, owner contact
• EIN letter: IRS CP 575 or confirmation page
• Formation docs: Articles/Operating Agreement & state registration
• Prior-year return: business/owner (if any)
• Bank/processor list: bank name (last 4), Stripe/Square/PayPal
• QBO: grant access (if using) or upload CSV of current income/expenses
• Payroll: last payroll report & provider info (if applicable)
• Vendors for 1099: names, emails, amounts (CSV or spreadsheet)
• Sales tax: state account ID & recent filings (if applicable)
• Owner ID: driver’s license (front & back)

• Guest Upload: fastest—no account. Enter name & email, upload, submit.
• Sign In: if already invited. Use Forgot username/password if needed.

FAQ

• Is the portal secure? Yes—encrypted transfer/storage. Please don’t email sensitive data.
• Still setting up? Upload what you have (EIN/Articles). We’ll outline the rest during onboarding.
• Start mid-year? Yes—upload bank access or CSVs; we’ll backfill essentials.
• File too big? Split into parts or upload items separately. Reduce photo size if needed.
