Payments & Invoices

Pay securely online or via bank apps. Choose the option that works best for you.

How payment works

  1. You receive an invoice (or we confirm a quoted amount).
  2. Select a payment method below.
  3. Include your full name and invoice # in the memo/notes.
  4. Receive a receipt automatically (or by email for Zelle/Cash App).

Payment terms

  • Tax prep & amendments: Payment due at sign-off (before e-file or delivery). Larger scopes: 50% deposit at engagement + 50% at sign-off.
  • Small cleanups (< $400): Pay in full to start.
  • Bookkeeping & payroll: Onboarding fee + first month upfront, then monthly auto-pay (ACH/Zelle preferred).
  • Rush work (≤72 hrs): +20% rush fee (quoted in advance).
  • Scope changes: Confirmed with a change-order and updated quote before proceeding.
  • Refunds: Deposits refundable only for unused work if we cannot proceed. After e-file/delivery, fees are non-refundable.
  • Overdue: Work pauses after 7 days past due; reactivation fee may apply.

Tip: Prefer Zelle to avoid the 5% card processing cost.

Credit/Debit Cards (via SecureFilePro)

  • Pay securely in the portal; receipts emailed automatically.
  • Processing fee: 5% applies to card payments.

Zelle (no fee)

  • Send from your banking app to: pay@grftax.com
  • Memo: Your Name — Invoice #
  • Forward the Zelle confirmation email if you need a receipt copy.

Cash App (no fee)

  • Send to: $grftax
  • Note/Memo: Your Name — Invoice #
  • We’ll mark your invoice paid after receipt.

FAQ

  • I can’t find my invoice. Log in to the portal to view open invoices or request a resend.
  • Card declined? Try another card/bank, check address/ZIP, or call your bank to approve.
  • Paid by Zelle/Cash App but no receipt yet? Email the confirmation to tax@grftax.com and we’ll post it.
  • Need a business receipt? Use the memo to include your company name or email us to update the receipt.
